CBD is legal and is not tested by the driver’s license office or the employer during a regular drug test. However, the degradation products of THC are sought in the body.
Many interested parties are afraid that they might get a positive drug test by using CBD, because there is also a little THC in hemp. Since the threshold for legal cannabis products in Germany is a maximum of 0.2% THC, this scenario is largely provided for. However, it happens again and again that people are tested positively.
So if you want to play it safe, you should choose a THC-free product. These are usually made of pure CBD crystals mixed with a carrier oil. If hemp seed oil is used here as carrier oil, this is also absolutely safe, because hemp seed oil does not contain THC.
CBD products with the full range of cannabinoids (also THC) are called “full spectrum” oils. CBD products without THC have the indication “0% THC” or “THC-free” on the packaging.
